Thelonious is a Toronto born rap artist revered as a wordsmith and the young voice of hope for the young and underprivileged.

Thelonious is recognized by his listeners as an emerging talent for his polished lyricism, introspective storytelling and captivating delivery as he spreads his message of pride in community. He was born and raised in the Northwest community of Rexdale by musical parents who exposed him to the subtle complexities of jazz, gospel and soul music in his youth. This would later come to influence his beat selection and equip his production with rich musical complexities reminiscent of the historical sounds of black music.

Since 2019, Thelonious has been independently building a strong musical catalog and resume of live performances, television appearances and commercial/sync placements. His latest project, Albion Road Demos, was met with widespread acclaim — including a spot on Complex Canada’s Best Canadian Albums of 2022. More recently, Thelonious has released his brand new single, Yuck Freestyle (ft. Mick Jenkins), and began teasing his forthcoming project. In his young age Thelonious continues to push his own artistic bounds and make prominent strides within Toronto's Hip-Hop culture.
